Speaking Opportunities

Whether you are looking for a speaker or facilitator, I am happy to discuss how my talks and workshops can support your audience.

My Signature Talk, Redefining IMPACT to Unleash the Changemakers in Our Communities, speaks to the changing landscape of the nonprofit sector and how a focus on individual leadership development will benefit the long-term growth and employee retention for nonprofit and service-based organizations.

Frequently Asked Questions

This is by far the most common question I get asked and the difference is important for setting appropriate expectations.

Therapy has the primary goal of diagnosing and treating. Therefore, therapy utilizes looking back to fix the present.

Consulting involves an expert telling you how to accomplish a specific goal. For example, a fundraising consultant will tell you the steps to raise $1 million dollars.

Conversely, Coaching does not diagnose or tell you what you need to do. Instead, coaching takes the perspective that you are the expert in your life and in your organization. It provides tools for understanding yourself on a deeper level so you can remove the barriers holding you back and achieve your goals how you choose to achieve them. Coaching utilizes forward-looking approach because the emphasis is on who you are choosing to be now and what actions you are going to take from this moment on.

Yes. Coaching takes many forms (such as individual, group, drop in, long-term engagements, retreats, etc.) and there are many different methods used in the coaching world. Some of these methods are more reputable and science-based than other. It is important to find a coach whose methods match your intentions and values.

Yes. I have a confidentiality clause in my contracts as should every coach.

Additionally, my contracts with organizations clearly define what information I can provide to sponsoring organizations about their employees, which is limited to maintain trust with my clients. You will be able to review and discuss any concerns about these policies with me prior to signing on to any of my programs.

First, since coaches provide many different types of services, it is important to understand what you are looking for. Some coaches blur the line between coaching and consulting, so ask yourself what type of experience am I looking for and if there is any particularly area of your life you intend to focus on.

Next, you should always ask the following questions to understand if you are talking to a reputable coach.

  1. What are your qualifications and are you certified?
  2. What can I expect from working with you?
  3. What is your philosophy around coaching?

These questions will help you to understand whether or not they are certified by a reputable program, which means there is oversight and professional standards to the methods they will use to impact your life. These questions will also reveal how much access you will have to your coach and whether or not this is a true coaching relationship or if someone is selling you their solution to your problems.

I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I have also earned advanced certifications as a ELI Master Practitioner, COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist, and COR.E Performance Dynamics Specialist through iPEC. I am currently working on earning my International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification.

I also hold four degrees including a BS in psychology and a MS in Strategic Fundraising and Philanthropy.

For new clients, yes. Coaching requires commitment and time to implement. Working with someone or an organization for less than 6-months would be a disservice. For returning clients, length of commitment is based on a case-by-case basis.

Payment plans on a case-by-case basis.

If you are part of a nonprofit organization, my services may be able to be funded through a “capacity building” or similar type of grant. Check with your local foundations to determine if they offer these types of grants. I am happy to provide them with any necessary information.

No. Not all clients or organizations are a right fit for what I offer, which is why I don’t have scheduling and payment links on my website. I prefer to vet all my clients before extending an invitation to work with me.

For clients who aren’t a good match for my services, I have a network of certified coaches through which I can provide a reputable reference for your needs.

We all have extraordinary untapped potential. The ELI is a one-of-a-kind assessment designed by iPEC to take something abstract (the way you experience the world) and turn it into a tangible metric with profound and practical insights you can use to reshape your worldview and transform your life into the ideal one you envision.

Your reality is a mirror reflecting your level of awareness—your thoughts, feelings, and emotions about yourself, others, and the world. Some aspects of your awareness or consciousness serve you, while others hold you back from fulfilling your potential. And understandably so (we’re human!)

With the research-backed ELI assessment, you’ll experience profound and practical insights you can use to reshape your worldview and transform your life into the ideal one you envision

Step 1: The assessment

As your Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), I’ll connect you with the simple online assessment which takes about 20 minutes to complete.

Step 2: The debrief

Once the results are in, I’ll guide you through a 1:1 ELI debrief session. During this personalized session, we’ll dive deep into your results and uncover a clear path to
awakening your potential—and creating a life in alignment with your work and life goals.

Understandably, when you take an assessment or quiz, you want to be able to utilize the results in your life. Imagine having an expert guide you through this new information! As an iPEC certified ELI-MP, I’ll debrief your personalized assessment results so you can ask all your questions, and I can provide you with valuable insights for how to take what you’ve learned and actually apply it to your relationships, career, and all areas of your life.

Your Leadership Mastery Blueprint:

The 5 Components of the COR.E Leadership Dynamics System

These 5 core components are critical in unlocking your true leadership potential. It truly doesn’t matter if you’re an entrepreneur looking for a bit more satisfaction and enjoyment in your business, or if you’re a CEO looking to attain the level at which you know full well you are capable of performing. Whatever your position or profession, these components are the bedrock on which your performance is based.

Component 1 – Creating Your “Game Plan”

Most leaders are looking for something more out of their performance or their work life, but they either don’t know exactly what that “something” is or have only defined part of the goal and not the complete picture. Without this clarity and complete vision, you can struggle to reach the level of performance you’re looking for—and even when you reach a goal, you may still feel like something is missing. Any of this can lead to uncertainty, lack of confidence in decision-making, lack of fulfillment and enjoyment, or feeling constantly bored or consistently uneasy.

In this component of the program, you will:

  • Understand the basis and foundation of COR.E Leadership Dynamics

  • Create a vision with specific goals

  • Build out your approach and your program

  • Identify your baseline for performance potential using what will become one of your best assets, the SCOPE assessment

  • Experience the eye-opening Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief

Component 2 – Establishing Your Energy & Performance Foundation

Understanding the nature of energy (in all its forms) will help leaders to develop more day-to-day consistency. One’s talent and level of competency do not change from day to day or even moment to moment; it’s the leader’s energy that is constantly changing.

By understanding the nature of the energy of performance, a leader can take steps to proactively create consistent experiences to lead to the probability of desired outcomes (we can’t guarantee the outcome itself—but we can set you up to be as well positioned as you can in order to achieve it).

In this component of the program, you will:

  • Explore mastery and what it means to be a master

  • Dive into understanding the energy of performance

  • Learn and begin to face what blocks energy (and thus significantly holds back your performance potential)

  • Become aware of how you think, feel, and act, so that you can break through any limiting thoughts and undesired reactions

Component 3 – Finding and Harnessing Your Performance Influencers

How do you make real, meaningful, and intentional changes in the moment in a manner that either redirects your momentum to get back on track or further enhances your energy when things are going well?  This component helps you understand how to solve issues in real time.

You will understand how to solve issues in the moment. You’ll begin to develop a personal success formula that you can apply as needed to capitalize on your strengths, traits, preferences, and attitude.  This dramatically improves the repeatability and consistency of your performance.

In this component of the program, you will:

  • Discover the 6 energy influencers that most affect your performance

  • See, feel, and understand exactly how much these influencers detract from your ability to perform at your current capacity

  • Learn how to create shifts for yourself that produce high levels of energy in the moment

  • Create action plans and determine which intervention strategies work best for you to bring about your ideal performance state

Component 4 – Mastering the 10 COR.E Disciplines

Where does resistance, lack of motivation or confidence, sabotaging self-talk, and other hexes that plague leaders come from?

The world’s greatest leaders get their calm, cool demeanor from a frame of mind, perspective, or attitude that unleashes their full potential. They have developed an approach that keeps their motivation high, their resiliency strong, and their ability to spot opportunities sharp.

This component reveals the 10 COR.E Disciplines that are instrumental to bringing out your ideal leadership performance state.

In this component of the program, you will:

  • Learn and practice the 10 COR.E Disciplines

  • Create a life and leadership philosophy, based on these disciplines, that unleashes your energy, potential, and performance

  • Discover a “way of being” that’ll be instrumental to bringing out your ideal performance state and your true potential

Component 5 – Optimizing Your Success Formula

One of the key elements to understand AND embrace: what worked yesterday may not work today, nor should it.  You need to know how to evolve your approach building upon what’s working, modifying as you go, and eliminating the elements that no longer serve you.

Understanding what is and is not working can be complex. What appears to work or not work may be obvious or it could be much deeper and systemic. This is where the real optimization comes from – by knowing what’s at the core of your performance, you can continually focus on cause instead of effect, and build your potential for the long-term.

It’s time for you to lead as you’ve never led before!
